Not sure of the part number on ebay, it was over a year ago. Just do a search for crown vic control arm bushing on ebay motors and match the picture up with the bolt pattern. You can tell by the picture that one side of the bushing is larger than the other. Just stay away from Raybestos, NAPA...

The ones from ebay worked. They had the stock design, larger oval in front and then smaller oval.

Does anyone have a used/new set of front lower control arm bushings with relatively low miles they dont need. I have tried three different types and none of them fit, the opening where the control arm shaft goes is too small. Ford only sells the lower control arm as a unit and I just changed...

The Napa bushings don't work. Just ordered them today. The control arm shaft doesn't fit through the bushing insert. It gets to the thread and stops. I guess I will take them to a machine shop and see what they can do. i have tried moog, trw (napa) and raybestos, none of them fit.

No, everything is original. Other than regular fluid changes and tune ups, I have only changed the timing chains and rear axles/seals. Getting ready to replace the ball joints and upper control arms this weekend. Knock on wood...she's been a great car, with very hard miles put on her.

253,000 on mine...and loved every mile.

Well, after 242,000 miles, I have to replace the axle seals, shafts and bearings. So I have everything apart and notice the spider gears have a couple nicks in them. Question one, do I really need to replace them, and question two, are they the same as a crown vic? My ford dealer says that...
