I had the two pieces together, but the bulb appears to to be too wide for the opening in the housing when it is turned to the side.

    New HID kit

I will post pics tonight. I wanted to be able to remove the bulb without dealing with having to "dig" out the silicone.

    New HID kit

It was lined up properly, but there isn't enough room to turn the bulb in the opening, even when I don't have it in the ring. I wonder if the bulb sent with my Raptor kit is different then what is sent with the slim kit. When I attempted to turn it , the ceramic insulator on the outside...

Hmmm. I will have to revisit it. I am creating a cast of the ring with a couple mods to make it a cleaner fit.

    New HID kit

Ctrlraven, Did you have to make any modification to the fog light housing? I have a DDM kit, and I cannot slide the bulb into the housing and turn it to lock the ring into the housing. When I attempt it it looks like the bulb is too wide to twist in the factory opening.

    Hid

The fogs are not wired to stay on when the high beams are on. My HID kit came with a harness that is required when one bulb is both the high and lo beam. With out the harness the light don't work correctly.

What did you do to your car today?

Last night I finally replaced my headunit. I installed a Pioneer AVH-4300DVD. I added the Axxess AWSC (Steering wheel control interface) & the amp harness to be able to still use the factory amp. I also did the dvd playback bypass mod. I have a little cleanup to do, but it is a very nice unit.
