Wow, what a f*@king sob story...... Let's get this right, your in the car business, and were willing to take a 4k hit? I'll throw the B.S. flag on that. I know the dealer game, and plenty of dealers, I can guarantee that you don't have in the car what you are saying that you have in it. If you do, then you should get away from buying & selling cars.
Typical car dealer s*^t, ask for more money after you sold the car..... really? You say your honest, but what you posted makes -0- sense.
More than likely what happened, the buyer was out of town, and had someone watch the auction and bid for him, obviously the bidder is not going to send a deposit in this instance, hence the buyer asking for a couple of days to send the deposit. But times are so tough, you sent the deposit back and re listed the car. You should have sold the car, took the imaginary hit on it, wrote it off on your taxes and don't get that deep into a used car again......
I think people are upset because your story makes no sense. And, I can't believe a dealer would sink 27k into an 8 year old car, no miles or not, that is an incredibly crazy move, for a car that you are planning on selling, i.e. make a profit on. You'd have to get 30k for it. Does something seem wrong in this picture?
Would I want to be on the receiving end of harassment??? I'm an LEO, I get it everyday, and it's supposed to be OK, because I wear a badge, so your special how? It's a big bad world out there, the internet is even worse, you better get some thicker skin or something.....
Off my soapbox..........for now.:mad2:
amen. +1
Yes, the buyer did not make the deposit within the 24 hours as my ad stated!!!!! And to answer one other post. I am not exactly sure how someone could ask "who would pay $27,000 for an 8 year old car" Do you know how stupid that sounds? What does the age of the car have to do with its value? I have sold several cars recently that were at least that lod for more money. For example 2003 Dodge Viper 3,000 miles $54,200. 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with 2,200 miles $32,000, 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra Conv 2,000 miles $29,995. So really does that statement hold water? Please stop judging me. And for all the haters out there, I emailed the buyer and offered him the car for $23,500 including all fees. And of course I did not hear from him, as I suspected he was going to be a non-payer anyway so this nonsense is unnecessary!!!!!
wtf? are you seriously comparing a marauder to a dodge viper, and a z06? totally different price ranges... mentioning those sales was completely irrelevant.
