255/45/18 tire suggestions

You better post up what M.T. tires you are talking of, they really don't make tires within our size limits, you have traction control and need to maintain the right staggered ratio. and if you are talking drag radials, they don't make the best daily driver tires, they are no good in rain and wear fast and are sort of expensive to wear a set out every year.
 
Factory stereo on the fritz. In dash CD never worked, nor did the sub, and now the 6 CD changer is giving me fits. It's like the laser is off kilter and it sounds like a radio station that you can't get tuned in. Go to another disc and come back and sometimes it self fixes.

Long story short, any new tires will most likely now go on the factory wheels as I think I need to pay closer attention to a sound system first.
 
Factory marauder radio is known for losing fm reception, no fix really know of. Many at that point ether go aftermarket or with the ford audiophile unit from the escape/mariner which is plug and play, stereo controls work, sub works, in trunk cd changer will not work, but the audiophile has 6 disc in dash so no loss.

They run about $150 - $200..there is an exact model number, if you want it let us know.
