Those brackets are also useful for pulling an upside-down Marauder out of a lake, I'd keep them just in case. You wouldn't want to risk bending or scratching anything else after your Marauder was rolled would you?

I was thinking they were for when the car is towed by a flat bed to tie the car down.

This is what the tow driver used them for on my car.

I'd leave them unless the intercooler is in the way.
