Regretted Mods

Not taking my 4% tint off and re tinting in 35% on the sides and 50% on the windshield.

1. The Vortech Mondo Blow-off Valve (eventually sold on EBay).
2. Blowing up the motor (now officially a "mod," per post #12).
3. The first two transmission rebuilds (because I should have spent the money for hardened parts the first time).
4. Letting my (now ex-) wife drive it, EVER! (This wasn't, per se, a "mod." It just resulted in some, er, "mods." Later repaired.) Moral: don't let some passive-aggressive person that secretly hates your car drive it.

1. Hood from Class Glass, getting a good one seems to a a roll of the dice.

2. Using sniper/deltaforce - commando software for tuning... in theory it's more powerful than SCT race driver or whatever it's called. However the templates for the Marauder are kinda messed up, and the after purchase support just isn't there. Even though I do ok with it now there are still simple things that would be much easier with SCT.

Ditto. Sniper tuning package support sucks.

Intake spacer.

Granted it came with the ported and polished upper and lower plenums but all it did was cause the powder coated TB inlet pipe to rub the headliner.

I removed it recently.

I regrett not a thing I did to mine. It was a experence & I still love the car. I bought it stock with 2010 miles on it and now it's about as far from stock as it could be. Its been a garage Queen and looks great inside & our side with 40500 miles on her now.

Regret not having a rear cooling mod. I'd still be running happily on my stock motor had I done it.

that it does, but i have successfully used my single delta force tuner and a innovative lm-2 wide-band to tune my f250, marauder, my blown 00'gt, and my dads 2003 cobra. once you figure out how to work it, it isn't too bad.

i have used the SCT pro racer software before on my old 00' gt and it was pretty complicated to figure out, but it's by far the better of the two. the SCT has so many parameters to modify that it can be overwhelming if you are inexperienced at using tuning software. the sniper is much more user friendly for the average auto hobbyist IMO.

Like others have said before me in this thread: I regret waiting too damn long to buy one. I drooled over these cars when they were released over 10 years ago. Thankfully I've remedied that problem.
