I went back to OEM. me and the beast like em best. At least in Minnesota.
When summer comes...I will re-install the TR5's for fun. Ask me again in August.

Damien, if your car doesn't have a tune there's absolutely no advantage to running other than the stock plugs.

I agree with this statement as well.

As with merc I run copper plugs, I current have Motorcrafts in which I believe are the same as the Autolites I just can't recall how the part #'s matchup.

Motorcraft Part Numbers

Motorcraft updated part number for the one step colder plug is SP505 (old number was AGSF22C). Advanced Auto carries them for less than $2 each. According to Rock Auto, the stock plug part number is now SP447 (formerly AGSF32C). As others mentioned, stick with stock until you're tuned.

By "tuned", does that include Lidio's Xcal2 tune? I have that and a JLT CAI.

Any time the fuel or spark tables are altered, that's considered a tune. I would ask Lidio directly if he recommends other than the stock plugs with his tunes. I know Dennis used to, but I don't think he does anymore.
