I am interested in getting more performance from my car and I would like to survey North America, including Canada (even though they didn't support us in the Afganistan and Iragi war).
1. Learn to spell Afghanistan and Iraq.
2. Learn to use these words in the correct context. For example...when talking about something or someone associated with Afghanistan, we usually refer to them/it as "Afghan". Similarly, the word "Iraqi" can be used.
3. Logan didn't commit to a spell checker so people wouldn't use it.
4. If you're on a rant, slow down so that the keyboard can catch up with you.
5. Knock Canada again. I have a fast car and nothing to do on the weekend.

I want to hear from endusers or suppliers of mods and cars to tell us what their best times are. I would like Logan to start a spread sheet (like the one with thlike to get a spread sheet going so that I can see who I should follow.
Logan, can you make the space for replies a little longer than what you have now.
Anything else Logan can do for you in his spare time?

2003 Blue 300B (Canadian) (reversed traction control, mini spare, trunked
I didn't think we had any blue 300Bs up here 'cos the dealers couldn't sell the black 300As. What the heck is "reversed traction control"?

 Yorks .... good rant!

Anyway, .... To bring up any of that in this form isn't appropriate. Even though I (along with many others on this board)can speak from "been there done that" point of view, I'm not going to. not here. This forum is about the Marauder! If you want to get political, join a news group or a forum dedicated to that.

I wasn't. I was demonstrating the correct use of the English language. Thank you for your concern.

Tom

PS- I noticed to 'reversed traction control' too.

I appreciate the coments from everyone.

Where is Logan on this?
Sorry about re-posting this for no apparent reason. I just wanted to see it in print again because I didn't believe it the first time!

I test drove a blue 300B before buying my current black unit. Yes, they are definitely available up here in Canada.

SergntMac...I noticed that you have 399 RWTQ. WE supposedly have the same car, but I only have 377 RWTQ. I guess my car came off the assembly line at the wrong time.

I haven't raced my car yet except once when the track was wet and only for a 1/8 of a mile. But my car is the same as the car that Kenny Brown has had an article written about.

Well, yes and no, John. My Kenny Brown is the 1X, the experiment, the prototype. This is the car that is in AutoWeek, Car and Driver, and appeared on the SpeedChannel. I believe there is a KB #1 production car somewhere, and the 25 or so KB MM-S that are out on the street today don't have everything I have (and vice versa) due to Kenny's decisions about the production car.

I believe you are using a S/C pulley that produces 8 pounds of boost. I am using a pulley producing 10 pounds of boost. Moreover, none of the production KB MM-S have any updated exhaust systems, it's all OEM stuff, other than a turbo muffler option available at purchase.

During development over a year ago, there was nothing exhaust system related available to Kenny that was satisfactory to him for the costs involved. That's different today, there are four or five options now.

Down in Ennis TX, Dennis handed me an exhaust system for my MM and asked me to test it out. I did. I installed and tested Reinhart's recently developed Cobra exhaust system, which adds what has been missing from the KB package (and all MMs everywhere) since conception. Polished and ported '03 Cobra exhaust manifolds, 2.5" OD exhaust pipes, high flow cats and Xpipe, into the OEM mufflers, tail pipe and tips, and it all a "volt-on" to boot. Highly compatabile with the OEM exhaust design.

This Reinhart Cobra system develops 28 RWHP and 18 RWTQ, and has the appearence of the OEM exhaust system, a real sleeper setup for any warrantee concerned owner. It's been inspected and tested by Kenny Brown, and he is very pleased with this advancement in exhaust. Give David Frey, or Dennis Reinhart a call for details?

BTW, John, this is the kind of informative 411 we trade here, and I don't see how any spreadsheet could contain all this 411 without losing detail and causing a hundred more questions from newbies.

Bobby Clobber...I was only getting in some humor in our discussion. It just like adding a little spice to one's food. Remember we all have to continue be light hearted in our discussions as I have noticed in the many of the threads that I have read.

Do what you want to do here, John, but I've tried subtle humor a dozen times now, and it doesn't work well in this one-dimensional medium. I have insulted and embarassed many a fellow member with a stab at humor that turned out to be a stab in their heart. Better off to avoid it until you develope a more personal relationship with that particular member, or, be ready to stand up and apologize.

Moreover, I have heard from others here "I was only joking" and I accepted that. However, the pain of embarassment still stung pretty deep, and "the horse was out of the barn," get me? I have it from personal experience that crossing international borders at the same time only magnifies the complications.

Y'all watch out for this humor pot hole, jokes via this site can be spikes to the soul. Be clear about your meaning, and we'll all break a smile. Be obscure, and you'll hear about it, for sure.

Just my .50c, anyone got change for a dollar?

Once again Mac BRAVO!! Huh no change. Some pocket lint though. Wife keeps most of the money, gives me an allowance.

Ross: No kilt here. What I have is a Brecan-feile.

Good comments everyone,Yorks, Mac, et al . I agree , this isn't the place for that stuff, but no one likes a flame job, not even in the cold of Nova Scotia.

But aren't hey Blue 300As in Canada?

DOH. Caught in the semantics... yeah, they're all 300A, listed as job 1 and job 2. I should have said I drove a blue 300A job 2 (small spare, TC, decontented, etc...)

Fantastically put, Sarge. This is good enough to put the nail in the coffin, in my opinion. With a car like this one, in this stage of its early life, best to sit back and soak in the various approaches and do some research before plotting a course.

Heck, I and a lot of others here are "full steam ahead" and sharing all the info, anyway.

BTW...you guys are welcome...

The guys at Team Ford have dubbed my car the "test-mule" for ATL

Thanks, Sarge. Nobody puts it as succinctly as you. I went with the head on approach.

Who's the baddest?...I just love it...I bought my car because it is big and relatively fast...if I just wanted a fast car being a life long Ford fan I would have got a Cobra Mustang...they be bad...have not modded my MM because quite frankly I prefer not to blow my warranty...but if I had the funds and had SCed, chipped, geared or souped up my MM in any way to make it faster you could bet your bottom dollar I would put it to the test against any of you guys to find out if it was faster...there I said it...if I was going to spend funds for speed I would want to see what it would do against any one who care give it a go on the strip...not the public highway tho...and if I won I would strut around like a peacock...around my neck of the woods (and I mean woods) we only spend bucks for speed to rub each others noses in it...if someone can not take it...get more go fast goodies...no way I would spend big bucks for speed and just look at it...surely as old as most of us are on this site we could take a little humble pie...flame on I can take it...cause I have lost plenty of races and did not have bad feelings toward the victor...willie...now who's the baddest...
edit edit edit....
