Oh and again a big thanks to cbars for helping get this project off the ground:bows:
On the other hand, yesterday I put mine away for the winter...added Star Tron to the tank, filled the tank, pulled the battery, put the cover on...come on Louisville!
Finished installing the new cluster on my 64 Galaxie. Reinstalled the bucket seat. (Damn bucket ain't light weight.) Gauges, lights, etc work great. Dash looks brand new.
The bad.
Speedo is all over the place. Bounces from 0-20, 0-40, never stays steady.
Now, I have to figure out what I did wrong.
Dash pics:
Finished, "before/after", in progress
My Birthday was on Tuesday and my wife did the usual dinner and cake thing. And gave me my crappy present. It was a ear and nose trimmer, if you're wondering.
Well this has nothing to do with my 300A but it's still cool as ****. My Birthday was on Tuesday and my wife did the usual dinner and cake thing. And gave me my crappy present. It was a ear and nose trimmer, if you're wondering.
Must have been out of the back hair trimmers!

Try lubing the speedo cable.
Pull out the cable, put a glob of white lithium grease in one hand, feed the cable thru the grease back in to the housing with the other hand.
